As a Works Wonders® employer partner, you play a key role in shaping the future workforce while providing meaningful opportunities to youth transitioning out of foster care. We offer several ways to contribute, and you can select the level of engagement that best fits your organization's capacity.
How You Can Get Involved

Internships and career mentoring typically happen 15-20 hours per week over the course of 3-4 months.

No, youth receive a stipend from Foster Forward. Your only responsibility is providing a meaningful work experience.

Foster Forward provides full support, including a dedicated, trained career coach who works closely with both the youth and your team to ensure a successful experience. In addition to barrier assistance (e.g., transportation, work clothes), the coach will maintain ongoing communication, offering guidance and addressing any challenges that arise to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Absolutely! Many of our partners choose to hire youth who excel during their internship or job shadow experiences.

There is no deadline to becoming an employer partner! We have Works Wonders programming throughout the year and take employer partners on a rolling basis.
